Piano Recital 2013
Noah and Jon have a great piano teacher in Heather Brannon. At the end of each year she has all her students put on a recital -- here are our entries.
Noah was a little nervous - he played at home without a hitch.

"Big Bad Musical"
"The notorious Big Bad Wolf is being slapped with a
class-action lawsuit by storybooks of quirky characters who want to get
even: Little Red Riding Hood, her Grandmother, the Three Little Pigs
and the Shepherd in charge of the Boy Who Cried Wolf. With Sydney Grimm
as the commentator on live Court TV, the two greatest legal minds in
the Enchanted Forest — the Evil Stepmother and the Fairy Godmother —
clash in a trial that will be remembered forever after. "
Noah as the wolf and Jonathan as one of the pigs. They had a lot of fun being in this production.

the air immediately after scoring "The Goal" that clinched the Bruins'
1970 Stanley Cup Championship over the St. Louis Blues"
Paul Revere statue
In order to avoid some stairs, we took a different route to the subway and happened to walk by this plaque on Court Street.

Brownies
I love chocolate! I made brownies yesterday to serve at the Ladies' Tea. I used a cookie cutter to make some heart shaped brownies. Here is the delicious recipe that I got from a family friend:
1 C margarine
½ C Cocoa
2 C sugar
3 eggs
1 t salt
2 t vanilla
1 ½ C flour
mix above ingredients and pour in greased 9 x 13 pan. Bake 30 minutes at 350 degrees. Yum!
