New Pictures

It's been a while since the last post. Here's what's been happening: In June, we flew to Missouri for the wedding of Sydonyia's niece, Emily. Noah and Jonathan were both ringbearers, and it was good to visit with family members and share in Emily's wedding. We spent a week in Missouri, visiting the Magic House science centre in Kirkwood, my in-laws country house, and the Meramec Caverns in Stanton.

We were at Windcrest Bible Camp for Canada Day, what is now an annual tradition. The preaching and programs were great! The trombo-la skit, horseback riding, and family photograph contest were especially fun. A week and a half later, the boys went back for Junior Camp -- Jonathan's first time as a camper. They came home happy, tired, and in need of showers.

I did an overnight camping trip to Fundy National Park, tenting and getting in a hike along with a round of golf. It's a beautiful part of creation. Friends of ours had us out to their cottage on Grand Lake for supper (and swimming and boating) one afternoon. And the end of July, our friends Kurt & Michelle came up from Greenville SC for a visit. They are a wonderfully musical family, and did a concert at the church, with many visitors out to the service. It was a great blessing. They were here for a few days and wanted to visit Prince Edward Island, so we all went (nine of us) in their motorhome for a quick two day trip covering Green Gables House, Avonlea Village, and Cavendish National Park. And Cows, of course.

Ministry at Bethel has continued over the summer, with missionary guests Tim & RoseAnne (Gordon) Bower, evangelist Keven Brownfield, and the Pettersons music ministry. We've started a new Wednesday evening Bible study, and are thankful for what God has done in some of our church families recently.

They say a picture is worth a thousand words, so check our online album at Picasa for more on what's been going on in our family
