August 6-7,2011

We were in Bucksport, Maine for the weekend. Sadly, we took no photos. We stayed with our long time friends, Jon & Jen Bell. Jon made a delicious corn chowder for lunch and Jen prepared a very yummy baked oatmeal for breakfast. Jen, her teenage girls and I made a quick trip into Bangor to shop at "Bath and Body Works" and "The Christmas Tree Shop". Philip had the opportunity to participate in a trombone concert the evening of August 6. They played a beautiful piece called "Song for Japan". This is a youtube clip of the song being played by another group. We attended church with the Bells on Sunday and enjoyed the sermon and special music.
