PEI, Day 8

The morning looked promising, so we went off to the beach... but it started to rain. We went into Summerside for the afternoon. Along the the way, we stopped at a used bookstore -- turns out it is run by the uncle of Doug MacLean (the NHL coach and GM). Sydonyia found a few books, and I found the theology section. I came away with an original 1917 copy of Ellis's contemporary biography of Billy Sunday. Also found a few other odds and ends (including another Arthur C. Clarke anthology and a Louis L'Amour I didn't have).

The Paughs and the Murphy's like to eat -- 21 of us, this time, at Gentleman Jim's restaurant. My cousin Randy and his wife had arrived from St. John's, and cousins Vernon and Wyman were also present. Janice was over to the island as well for a few days, and I met another second or third cousin that I had never seen before. Ernest had a few stories and we all took lots of pictures.
